Doubtful. For the benefit of the folks who don't know LA history, Huey Long was one of the most corrupt politicians in all US history. It's a damned shame that the Union didn't raze Winnfield to the ground and salt the earth afterwards. I think it would have spared Louisiana several decades of heartache.
I think DeSantis will threaten the senate that he will appoint Gaetz in Rubios seat so they will confirm him. I doubt the senators would confirm him asap so they wouldn’t have to work with him.

Dang, my last sentence made absolutely no sense! I intended to say “I think the senators would confirm him ASAP so they wouldn’t have to work with him.

It's pretty hilarious that Gabbard was put on a terrorist watch list with three air marshals following her and now she will be their boss. :ROFLMAO:

That is a Obama hallmark tactic and has Obama’s fingerprints all over it. Or at least the underlings that he gave tacit approval for. He first used the IRS then moved to other agencies hench men

Exactly. both aircraft are designed to support SOF. They would not last minutes in a peer-on-peer high intensity conflict.

It is noteworthy I think that the Russian Air Force does not dare operate a manned aircraft over Ukrainian airspace.

Historically, the AF doesn't like it when its planes get shot down (duh!). If enemy ground forces have the capability to shoot down aircraft, then it's not a good application for aircraft. Unless the aircraft have standoff type weapons or other methods to create a favorable outcome from the engagement.

According to an Air Force statement, “The OA-1K is a low-cost, reliable, multirole, small-to-medium size aircraft system to support geographically isolated special operations personnel. The aircraft will perform close air support, precision strike, armed intelligence, and surveillance and reconnaissance in austere and permissive environments.”

Potential line in Top Gun 3: Maverick, let's get out of here, this doesn't look permissive!

Except a lot of the regulations are State based. Recent CA law caused Phillips to shutter 2 refineries in LA.

You navigate both state and federal regulations when running a refinery. Federal regulation interpretation and enforcement varies pretty widely between EPA regions. State regulations, as you rightly point out, vary greatly between states. I have zero sympathy for California and their ridiculous energy prices. California elects governments that promulgate regulations that increase cost with no environmental benefit. As far as I’m concerned, Californians have made their bed and now they get to lie in it.

It’s shaping up to look like Todd Blanche will now most likely be the Attorney General. Gaetz won’t get confirmation. Too many Republicans can’t stand him.
I get the trolling I guess. Though it feeds confirmation bias of everyone who questions Trump's decision making ability. The other thing is that he has a limited amount of political capital to spend before the effects of the election dry up and the opposition begins to really harden. How much is he willing to spend on nominees like Gaetz or now Kennedy at the expense of legislation? He is in effect handing the opposition issues around which they can and will make a circus. Gaetz will be painted the worst sort of child molester and sex trafficker on the planet, and Kennedy portrayed as handing American health care over to a medical conspiracy quack. Gaetz certainly, and likely Kennedy will have Republican opposition.

Trump can spend his capital fighting republicans, which I assume his base would love, or fighting democrats for a real immigration bill, tax bill, etc. He has about one hundred days after inauguration to get what is important rolling.

Didn’t the FBI just raid the home of the guy that runs the poly market?

What are they going to say when Americans are no longer chronically sick and obese? ;-)
No one can reverse it.
It’s an embedded cultural issue.
