Sir,
I have sent you a Personal mail. We offer hunts in South Africa, and can assist you in Namibia as well.

Take Care,
Marius Goosen.

I did the Plains Game Safari first thing......

I wanted to hunt Buffalo all my life and did the plainsgame thing first.......big mistake ( for me anyway). I really wish it had been Buff first with incidental plainsgame rather than an 8 day 8 animal plainsgame hunt. It was fun but it's not really what hunting Africa is about for me. Africa is about hunting, not a shopping list. While hunting Buff, you get a chance at a great Kudu, you take it. While tracking Buff you find a really good Water buck, bam! Can you maybe tell Ilike hunting Buffalo......... I will have a hard time ever making that nasty flight without Buffalo on the list at least.

Like a lot of people have said...you will be back and that is a fact, when the African bug bites..it bites hard. I would go with the PG hunt, and it won't be long before you back for a buff..

If you go to a big game area (for buff - assuming you do not intend to shoot him behind a fence) and hunt incidental plains game, then you will be looking at a fairly expensive first venture to Africa and relatively few opportunities at plains game. I certainly wouldn't recomend one of the short (and somewhat cheaper) buff only trips unless buffalo is the reason you are going to Africa. I did low fence to Namibia with my son in 08 and have just completed my fifth trip (now including a couple of buff and a leopard). For me, starting with that affordable PG hunt, where we really had to hunt, was the smartest move I could have made.

Hi Bob, how's things going in Wyong?. Down your way a couple of years back but haven't been in NSW since Ebor for the fishing. just getting over some nasty storms up here in Qld, seeing the sun for the first time in a few days. I'm going to NZ in the spring and hope to clean up a few buns while there and perhaps shake the spiders out of my old .303LE (currently owned by my BIL). Cheers Brian

Did you purchase your hunt at a US SCI fundraiser?

Heard you may have load data for the 500 Jeffery,.....any info would be appreciated. Was thinking 535gr, but already had a response that the 570gr would be a better way to go, not sure why.
