this was my rifle and pictures. Rizzini makes great quality beautiful guns. I loved this one. The major problem causing me to sell it was in the 470 NE which this was the rifle weighed under 10 pounds and kicked me to death. The thing I learned no matter the brand match the gun weight and LOP to both your body and caliber of the gun. In this case this rifle should have weighed 12 pounds to shoot comfortably. Hope this helps

My apologies…I just finished reading Dangerous Game Rifles Second edition and a 470 NE should be between 10-11 pounds. @Redleg is correct 12 pounds would be excessive

Beautiful rifle

So you sold this one? Are you looking for a different one?

No I bought a Chapuis 450-400 DR that I used this year to take a Buffalo and 4 PG that I love and can shoot all day

Hi PaulB,
I have a Ballard Arms Model 1885 chambered for .333 Jeffery Flanged. Do you have any idea where I can get ammo for this?

I am new to this forum so I am sorry if I am doing something wrong!
Thank You!
