There is a postal strike going in South Africa and, even if the strike is resolved now, the backlog of post will only be cleared by early January. So far, the end of the strike is not in sight.
I am looking for someone flying back to the USA from the Eastern Cape in South Africa, to take a parcel with them in the next week or so. The parcel weighs about 4 kg (under 9lbs) and contains a collection of custom knives and sheaths as well as a bayonet from the early 1900s with sheath. There is no ivory or other prohibited items in the lot.
I would be happy to pay for the parcel in cash or however is required.
