Hello, I have a Paul Jaeger custom rifle in
22-250 that I am considering selling. Looks like value for Paul Jaeger custom rifles are all over the place and this one is a little “interesting”.
It has a heavy bull/target barrel on it with pristine looking rifling, very nice heavy wood stock with good checkering. It has an 20x Lyman Super Targetspot mounted on it, serial number 1294 which seems to be a decently early one. Looking through the scope has two very small dots in the top section of it but the rest of the picture is crystal clear and honestly blows my mind on the detail you can see especially for it being as old as it is.
Online it looks like the Super Targetspot alone is worth a good chunk of change, this one has its screw on end caps as well, also the adjustment knobs click and seems to be in great shape.
It honestly seems to be a very well done rifle, at least to my novice eye.
Anyone have a reasonable ballpark price in mind? No wrong answers! No offense will be taken either!
