Passing of Gary Duffey

[RIGBY]

I was just informed about the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Gary Duffey.

I had the pleasure of spending some time with him in England during the Rigby 250th anniversary celebrations.

I’m sure many of you knew him much longer, but I enjoyed his company and knowledge for the short period of time I knew him and will miss him.

May he rest in peace!

Was he ill, any details on what happened? Condolences to his family and friends!

Gary, may you rest in peace in the green fields of heaven.

Gary was diagnosed with renal adenocarcinoma in May. He had nephrectomy on 7/2 but they found angiosarcoma (very rare) also. It just ate him up. One of the toughest men I have ever known and a man of great faith. This was brutal.

RIP. Prayers for family and friends.

That was one of his favorite reads. He suggested it to me yrs ago when my interest in Afr first started. Maybe I read again

No kidding? Maybe I ought to just leave it in there afterwards.
