Good day AH community!

We have a very exciting hunt to offer someone that has been waiting for that special once in a lifetime Rhino bull to hunt. This bull is a veritable giant and there are not many trophy bulls available for hunting that can match this bull in both front and rear horn length! We have included pictures below for perusal. We understand the cost of a hunt like this is high, however one must never discount the fact that giving these wonderful animals a true value that reflects the trophy not only stimulates the necessity to have them on ones property, but also helps to support the population.

The hunt will take place in the Northern Cape province of South Africa and one can either drive in or charter in. The concession is vast, stretching some 18,000 acres and home to multiple rhinos. As always, we’ll be targeting a specific, pre-selected animal in accordance with strict protocol.

Despite their notoriously poor eyesight, rhinos have an incredible sense of smell and hearing — and when you find yourself within range of one, it’s an experience that will have your heart pounding like few others!

You’ll be personally guided by us throughout the hunt, ensuring your safety and an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

This particular hunt always plays an important role in contributing to the ongoing care and management of South Africa’s white rhino population. Rhino hunting here is highly regulated, and we are fortunate to be among the few countries in the world with a strong enough population to continue hunting these magnificent animals in a responsible and sustainable way.

For those interested, please keep in mind that the permit application process requires a minimum of three months. Prior experience hunting members of the Big Five or Dangerous Seven, as well as proof of trophy importation, is required. You’ll also need to hold a current membership with a recognized hunting club or organization.

Pricing is as follows:
$108,000 all inclusive
*Packages include 5 days/6 nights as well as trophy fee.
*Other animals not listed can be added at additional cost.
*Other hunter/observers welcome at additional cost.
*Observers charged at $260 per person per full safari day.

Just to confirm. These are importable to the USA?
Absolutely! America is typically the easiest in terms of the permit process from our past experiences.

Great animal !

I do get the deal in general and am 100% pro Rhino hunting…
And I damn sure get generally high prices and the fact that this goes to pay for Rhino Conservation and Anti Poaching. That’s a beautiful Bull…(one like this was poached while I was in a camp in Botswana)
To that extent, I think it’s great to bring in as much revenue as possible…
But…I wonder if it’s just me or does the pricing not seem directly indexed and correlated to the “black market value” on Rhinos (Rhino Horn value per Kilo)? And maybe that’s the way it has to be so some Chinese MoFo doesn’t just have a proxy shoot them all and arbitrage the horns back from legal methods and smuggle them back out of the US (or wherever) once legally exported?
Am I cynical or is this part of the reality? Like how hard would it be to export to Mexico (if one could) and then they disappear quite easily from Mexico City… or…”apothecaries” that are in a Country like the US and Black Markets there?

In the event that someone were not to harvest a rhino in a hunt like this, what is the trophy fee portion if I could ask? If you prefer to answer that as a PM I am fine with that also.

Cost would be $450 per day, permit costs and a $200 transfer fee if unsuccesful! As @Tanks said it is unlikely in the time frame that we would be unsuccessful. The hunting area is 18,000 acres.

I'm just going to take a stab in the dark here and guessing that at that cost, if not successful the Outfitter would add some days;)

I for one would not endure the cost and misery of that flight and only stay those few days... I suspect a client booking this would either add on some other hunting or a side trip. Thus having some flexibility.

But I'm sure they keep tabs on that animal so doubtful you would not find him within 2 or 3 days.....

We should come right within the timeframe! :D(y)

Saw your post. Nice. Denver too. Genesee area (just off 70) if ever up this way. Alternatively, do you have a membership at GGC? Whatever, you'll have a wonderful time in Africa. Enjoy.
