What does a hunt package for jaguar cost these days? What other animals are on the hunt list in your area?

The problem of south america!.... Very sadness...
A specie turn between "plague" and "protected" like a blast!
In our little minds (specially in the people with authority) there are no chance for the "regulation" word... it´s all PHOHIBITION, or ELIMINATION...
Sad, but, true... Only the real hunters can revert this situacion!

Sestoppelman.....the bearded fellow was Sasha Siemel......the biggest "Tigrero" (jaguar hunter ever).......he borns in Riga....Latvia in 1890 and arrives to my Country Argentina in 1909 and he was working in Buenos Aires untill 1914, then he moves to a neighboring country.........the pantanal in Brazil and in 1923 he becomes in a tigrero (jaguar hunter) .....in 1937..... in one of his trips meets Edith Brigt in Philadelpia and got married and still living and raising his family in the pantanal in Brazil.....
Finally in 1947 Sasha leaves the Pantanal and moves to USA where he dies in 1970 (one year before I born) in Green Lane PA at the age of 80......He did his last trip to the Pantanal in 1968 and in 1963 opens the Siemel Museum in Green Lane PA at the age of 73.....!!!!!

    Thank you for your interest.....!!!!!

Rocket...............thanks for the great fotos. I agree with you that the elimination of legal Jaguar hunting has been a disaster. I know one farmer who has killed 11 jaguar on his property to protect cattle. If he could sell a tag for $10K, most of these cats would still be alive. As it is, many consider them a pest.

It has been my good fortune to both hunt (not for jaguar) and fish in the Pantanal.

I always enjoy your posts and photos. Keep them coming.............................FWB

Totally agree with you Bill, the best way to protect that sort of species is through the hunting, selling tags a good price......!!!!

Thank you very much Bill for reading.....!!!!!

Thank you for sharing. When I was in Brazil a few months ago I was hoping to see a jaguar. As luck had it I did not. I got to see countless other animals though including some really big Camon.
