Old 45/70 Cartridge with wooden bullet

Hello! I have a seemingly old 45/70 cartridge with a hollow wooden bullet and is filled with small shot. Anyone seen one of these before? Anyone have a date range estimate on it or any other historical information on it? Pictures attached below.

PS, the wooden bullet is not firmly crimped in the cartridge and can be removed, so I’m not sure if the shot inside is original or if the bullet is for that matter.

From what I can see it was called a forager round.

Obviously wooden jacket with some birdshot in this case, was for hunting.

Here is more about wooden bullets in general:

Yugo army, and German wermacht army (ww2) had wooden bullets in 8x57, mauser.
Those where blanks for training.

In Yugo army (probably the same in german army) they recorded number of woundings with wooden bullets, at close ranges.
So later they switched to crimped type of casing for blanks.

German nomination was Platzpatrone 33 (Patr 33)
