I am starting this thread in follow up to a recent post about frustrations over discontinued hunting related products that we use and like. My thinking is that it could be useful to timely notify each other of things being discontinued so that we can take advantage of trying to obtain the last remaining items in stock.

If possible, it would be helpful to cite the source and provide any information on where remaining stock can be purchased. As I mentioned in my other post, I have learned that the following items are being discontinued:

1. Kynoch Snap Caps (per Trader Keith) - Trader Keith still has some in certain calibers, but are limited sales to 1 pair per customer.

2. Alliant Reloder powders (per Gun Stop) - The only powder I have seen available in my area is RL10 at Scheels in Eden Prairie, MN.

3. S. W. Silver & Co. recoil pads (per Foxtrot) - Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing does have some stock of 2" thick ones. That is the only source I have found in the USA. I have reached out to a source in South Africa and am waiting to hear back. I will update this post once I do.

4. Swarovski Z8i 1-8x24 30mm tube scopes with L4AIF reticle (per Swarovski rep). This is a new development so there are still many for purchase at normal prices.

5. @Hunter-Habib mentioned in a response to that same post that the "European Union confirmed last month that within three years, they’ll be banning use of all lead hunting ammunition (for both rifles & shotguns). So if anybody has a favorite European lead cored rifle bullet or lead shotgun shell… I highly recommend stockpiling before production ceases completely."

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
