New Zealand tahr, free-range, public land, no aircraft utilized, guided, South Island. Another fun, tough mountain hunt. 5/28/23.
Typical mountain hunting terrain on the South Island. Happy hunting, TheGrayRider.
I guess you could say that, just like any other business, they are delivering what their customers want. If there was no demand then they wouldn’t offer the service. Just saying.I know some people who returned from New Zealand a while back and I’ll just say that the description of their hunt and what their outfitter told them they do or were willing to do was not what I would call ethical or sportsmanlike.
I realize that that is the reality of the matter but that doesn’t mean “it” should be done.I guess you could say that, just like any other business, they are delivering what their customers want. If there was no demand then they wouldn’t offer the service. Just saying.
A walk in public land tahr hunt is as real hunt as you will find. It’s actually crazy to me there are so many animals in New Zealand when there are no hunting laws in place and everyone there hunts.Congratulations on a successful hunt! And on how it was conducted.
