I previously used this broadhead on a hog hunt in June, when it first hit the market. But now I finally did a formal test. Wow. Got one of the highest scores of any head to date. Definitely worth a look.

How did you find they compare to the 1.75 Hybrids of the traditional band design? Were there any noticeable differences?

Well, did you watch the video? The test showed them virtually identical in every way.

So if you had to choose- Beast COC or this Sevr Magneto?

Yes, I did (and have watched many of them) and while you stated this the scores you post showed some differences - so this leads me to wonder are they worth the 5 bucks extra - seeing differences I thought you might be able to elaborate.

Your scores would argue that they aren't identical, or your confidence bounds of sampling variation are somewhat large. These aren't stated in the review so I was curious what the differences were that led to different scores. It would seem that the newer model you tested was sharper out of box, at the cost of edge retention.

So if you had to choose- Beast COC or this Sevr Magneto?
Man, they're in my very top choices for broadheads! If my set up generates enough momentum to stick it deep, I'd lean toward the Magneto Hybrid, just with the greater cut size and extra durability. If I was looking for extra penetration, it would be the Beast CoC.

Do you mind me asking what auction you are referencing? I'm not in the market for any of those rifles...just curious.

Good morning from Montana.

I'm looking at a post from 2018 where you were looking for a lefty Winchester in .375 H&H Magnum. I'm selling mine. My email is [redacted] in the event that you're still searching for a unicorn.

Best,

Kelly Palmer
Gents, if you book and pay your deposit before the end of this year , you can have the bigger cull package for the 2026 price! https://www.africahunting.com/threa...griffiths-safaris-starting-at-us-2-560.96285/
