Hey there everyone.
I've been a lurker on this site for some number of years now, and since I'm getting more involved in hunting, figured I'd get an account set up. I've been an avid shooter for about 15 years (IDPA CDP and 3-gun limited competitor, along with some 1,000 / 1,500 meter work) and I've got an FFL 07/08 for ammunition production (it doesn't make money - don't do it). I consider myself an avid and responsible firearms enthusiast that is slowly dipping further into the hunting realm.
So far I've only hunted game in Texas (stag, elk, blackbuck) and Ohio/PA (white tail) - but will be in attendance for SCI come January of next year, and will be aiming to book a hunt for Africa. The insight and wisdom from those that have "been there and done that" has been extremely valuable, and I massively appreciate the information that others have posted.
Looking forward to meeting some folks if there is another pre-SCI dinner / drinks!
