Says "Available from April 2019" here:

Don't know how it compares to the Leica Magnus, which also has a 6x zoom.

Given Leica has been liquidating remaining er5 and magnus optics at 50% off, I think this is their new and improved model.

They say available in April...anyone taking bets they don’t exist in North America by June? The er5 was 3 years late and they never made 75% of the models in the catalog.

Yeah, that's disappointing... I have a 1-6.3 X 24 Magnus and like it a lot. I asked the Leica sponsor here a while back about the ER5's and got no reply. They've also had several goes at getting their scope line out and about over the years but somewhere along the line it goes south....
