New Declaration Required to Enter South Africa Complete Before Entry

Can you imagine putting $20K on this form that is to be used for trip balance, TF, etc! I'm betting "someone" will be waiting for you somewhere along the journey. Prepaying, wire transfers, etc have taken a lot of anxiety out of the trip.
I remember going to Botswana, Zim, back in the early days carrying more money than sense!

I would hope we can keep this thread alive with those who are going soon and their experiences. I had a response in FB from a guy there now and there was no mention of this form on arrival.
For me, I'd keep the link handy and just see what happens on the trip.

I arrived in Johannesburg on the 12th and am on the flight returning to ATL as I type this. Delta never mentioned it neither did anyone at passport control.

Arrived July 10th and left the 18th with a group of five including minors. No one asked for anything but our passports, not even the forms for minors. We had them available if asked.

I arrived in SA on the 2nd and returned on the 16th and no one mentioned the new form. Even had a side trip to Vic Falls with the Mrs. and it wasn’t mentioned then either. The South African Revenue Service does have an app for the new declaration process. I’ve attached a photo of what it looks like in the App Store. Guessing that employee training might be lagging the rollout a bit.
