New administration in US. Will SA travel be restricted?

What do you guys think will happen as the new administration in US starts while the new covid strains still under review. Will flights to SA from US be paused today, tomorrow or “wait and see”?
My flight is booked for 4/30 (for now).

Right now I think that I would be more worried about getting back into the US with the Covid test being required before coming back than getting out of the US.

Yes, I have checked into that as well. I reached out to my PH and he’s aware of the US rules and says he has an office close to provide the test with a fast turnaround.

Same. But then again who knows these days. Cant assume literally anything anymore. I'm not sure I'd be surprised if the sun rose in the west one morning
