Mostly just out of curiosity.... Heading to Namibia in Aug; hunting the highlands west of Windhoek (ie NOT the Caprivi). What should I expect in terms of mosquitos? Looks pretty dry, so I'm thinking not too bad. That wildly incorrect?

Dry.... Should be none. Especially that time of the year.

That time of year I have seen less than a handful in any part of the uplands over the years.

There are always a few but little to worry about, I always treat my clothes with permethrin (sawyer brand). Except when I went to RSA last August thinking it was going to be cold everywhere. then in Natal there were ticks in the tall grass! Always treat it’s easy.
