I would say, that second only to the .375, the old
"Thirty-odd-six" is the world's best all-round cartridge.

I don't know if I'm familiar with that manufacturer? Could it be that you mean the Whitworth 98? If so, they are really nice rifles.

Unfortunately, I haven't hunted outside of Sweden, where I live, yet. But here I've hunted most things on four legs with it...
