Here is a picture story of my lucky warthog bow hunt in the Limpopo out of a leafy Marula tree...
[I hunted it with an older 65 lb Jennings bow with 125 gr 3- bladed Muzzy broad-heads at less than 20 m from this tree]

once I'm up the tree, the long ladder is taken down

I'm the one up the tree with the bow......[no baboons this time!]

It's sometimes good to concentrate on something else while up in the tree, just to keep sharp...

Some guinea fowl visited me during the afternoon

warthogs come and go--just too far away...

GOT HIM!

And off course I've got my trusted spear with me all the while for 'just in case!':heh::heh:

My small pocket digital camera is now a permanent part of my hunting kit....

Always best to have the big gun as back up on the dangerous game hunt.

The pictures do tell the story.
Thanks.

half baboon , ha ha ha
l used to think they were an useless accessory aswell buddy, until l fell asleep in my stand on the second last day of hogdeer season last year .
when l woke l was leaning foreward , and had to grab the branch l was hoping to use as my riffle rest . knocked my camera of its twig .
and watched it bounce off every branch on its way down .
went home and ordered one that very night . now it lives in my treestand hunting pack .

Phillip I was reviewing some of the auctions online and saw your Nubian Ibex hunt coming up this weekend. It also showed you have Addax and Axis deer. Is there a website I can go to and see the lodge, cost of animals and what is available? Thanks Mark

Appreciate your Limcroma/Franco comments. Will be seeing him in April....again. great person as well as his family (he has a new born son). I will always recommend him who makes a hunt special and exciting. Marc

I really like that knife you're selling. It looks so similar to my original 1306 that has been around a long time. I can't spend that much but if you get to a point where you'd entertain offers let me know. Thx, James
