My first Double Rifle - It's not Dangerous Game

Perhaps. I can see why ejectors would be more essential on a dangerous game double where quick reloading and follow up shots may be paramount. If your hunting quarry with a .270, perhaps they figure ejectors aren’t as necessary so they give you extractors.

Mine is only a .30R, which is basically just a hot .30-06- think I’d have preferred the extractors, if only to ensure I didn’t lose the extremely rare brass. Honestly just happy to have a double to play with, same as you, though!

Just looked at a Winchester O/U double rifle similar to @migrabill but without a scope. Since it has claw mounts, finding rings to fit would be prohibitive, so I think I'll pass.
