Before these three got away he asked if I would make them closed top sheaths instead so with that done they are away this morning.

@Von Gruff beautiful work.

Back in the 1700's and early 1800's blacksmiths in the U.S. would use files and rasps because they were the only metal hard enough to make quality knife or hatchet blades. They left just a tiny bit of the file or rasp marks on the finished blade, usually just before the handle, to prove to the customer that they had used the finest metal than available. Yours would look even sweeter (to me anyway) with that little addition. Again, beautiful work, thanks for sharing.

Getting the next few weeks work with all stainless blades sorted. There were a set of the steak knives and a couple of the chef knives in the ready drawer and the bearded chef has been heat treated but not ground yet. The rest are still to have all the drilling to be done before foil wraping and heat treating so will pick up the liqid nitrogen when I am in the city tomorrow for the cryo quench. That is another thing that has gone price crazy, where it used to be $12 and change per litre 18months ago with the last lot I got being $35 a litre so it is good to have a these all in at the same time to make it worth the cost of the LN.

Giraffe Bones

I had an arrangment with a friend in SA for another set of Giraffe bones that was initially done in Feb but there have been a number of frustrations and delays along the way from govt department there and many carriers who would not carry them after initially aggreeing to do so, but this morning I got this email.

Well I am delighted and happy to say that at last after a very long time the Bones have been collected by Lynx Freight Services today.

Documents all signed and done and attached hereto.

The biggest challenge for this very smallest crate was to find a company who was willing to assist with the import – we had many “no can do” responses but then came along Ryan from Sneddens and they were willing to help us. So thank you so very much.

I trust from here onwards everything will run accordingly with non if any hiccups.

Please let me know if there is anything else required from my side so that I can make sure you have everything.

Kindest regards to all

Roberta

A couple of days of grinding has all the stainless blades finish ground and ready for hand sanding so there will be a number of days doing that.

A little while ago you mentioned orders were slowing.
Here's hoping they stay steady while ever you are willing to produce them.

Hi Tom,

Our conversation record is lost on my end. I'm not sure what happened.
You sent a message last Thursday that you had received my payment for the Ruger 9.3x62.
Can you give me an update about shipping please.

Thanks,
Robert
