Good day AH community!
We have just finished another wonderful show season and cant wait to host everyone in 2026! We have done some game counts and it looks like we are set to take off a large number of Buffalo cows on one of our main Buffalo concessions, and from previous years we know there are a few clients that love these kind of opportunities and thus we wanted to offer you all the exciting chance to come and take on Africa's black death with us!
Limiting our quota every year has certainly been paying dividends as the population has exploded on this area and we are consistently seeing a definitive increase each year in the buffalo numbers. Specifically older bulls and cows.
The hunt will take place on one of our home bases of 12,500 acres and we will possibly jump across to another area of 54,000 acres to chase some buff cows there, just for a change of scenery!
Hunters will land at OR Tambo International airport on Johannesburg and from there travel to the concession. Hunting area is Limpopo and travel time from the airport is approximately 4 hours.
We also like to make it clear that when a hunter books any buffalo hunt with us, our focus is always on age. The size of the buffalo cow that you meet is up to your luck on the day - but rest assured, it will always be a nice old cow.
Those of you who have hunted Cape Buffalo will know exactly why it is such an addictive hunt and a hunt that deserves all the respect and prestige afforded to it! If you could bottle the feeling of your first buffalo hunt and sell it you'd most definitely be a wealthy man!
Buffalo are truly a noble adversary and it is for this reason that we at Bayly Sippel Hunting Safaris choose to conduct our hunts to the highest standard. One can expect hard hunting on foot by taking the freshest tracks from the day before. The days are very long, consisting mainly of following tracks at a painstakingly slow pace, sweeping roads & checking waterholes. The hunting is fair chase and we will target old buffalo as a preference. The physical demands of the hunt can be high depending on where the hunt takes place. The bush varies from extremely thick thorn bush to semi-open savannah.

*For a second hunter to join and share the package it is $2000 extra in daily rates and $2500 per extra cow.

*Other animals can be added at additional cost.

• Licensed Professional Hunter, a Tracker, Skinner and hunting vehicle.
• Accommodation on a full board basis, incl. non-alcoholic drinks and table beer/wine
• Transfer from and to Johannesburg international Airport unless otherwise stated.
• Transport between and on hunting Area A and Area B unless otherwise stated.
• Laundry service (Except on Sundays).
• Field preparation of Trophies.
Package excludes:
• Flight from and to Johannesburg International Airport, and any flights from one concession to the next.
• Hard tack (whiskey, brandy etc.)
• Firearms and ammunition. (Rifle Hire available at request)
• Hotel accommodation before and after the hunt – if required.
• Taxidermy, packing, insurance, transport.
• Dipping and shipping of trophies.
• Personal expenses ex. Tips, Telephone, Souvenirs etc.
• Tourist Programmes
