Something was said in the 7mm Rem Mag thread that piqued my interest, specifically that mountain zebra aren't native to most of Namibia. So I looked at a distribution map and sure enough see that the Hartmann is restricted to the mountains/hills that run parallel to the coast. Is the Khomas Highlands part of that area? Interestingly, I learned of the existence of the Cape Mountain Zebra, followed in the next few sentences of its non-existence in that recent genetic testing has shown it and the Hartmann are actually the same. The Cape Mountain Zebra occurs in the mountains/hills that parallel the south coast of RSA including on into the East Cape. Are they in huntable numbers? Is it legal to hunt them since they once almost went extinct? Do the many East Cape outfits offer them?
