Does anyone have a pair, how are they? I think they offer the best value in rifles scopes, their cheap models are better than leupold vx-6hd's in my opinion. Their expensive models are close to Swarovski's, but half the price. But! I don't own an of their binos - so what say you?

For what it is worth I really like their binos, will be interested to hear how you like them with the range finder.

I am in love with their rifle scopes. Hopefully I'll feel the same way about the binos. I'll test them against some Zeiss conquest binos - which I also really like

I’ve owned several of their highend HD model Binoculars and love them. I’ve tested them side by side with Leica’s best and they so close they are equal in my eyes! I have not tested LR Bins though…
Having said this the lower model Meopta rifle scopes are not as good as the Leupold VX-6 and the Leupold is as good or slightly better than the MeoStars in my opinion. I do really like all of the Meopta product line though…

I own a pair, 10x42, and really like them. The last time I took them to Africa, my PH needed a quick look at something and I offered them up to him. His reply, after looking through them, was "Jesus, what brand are these!" He likened them to his older Leica's as well.

Different strokes for different folks I guess - I don't think the VX6-HD's are even comparable to the Meostar R2's.

Update here - the optical quality of Moepta's is better than my Zeiss conquest 10x42 binos. Edge to edge clarity is better, and low light performance is better. They are more compact, but they are heavier. The Zeiss are great binos and they do have some advantages - the focus wheel is much easier to operate - they are also much cheaper - if you look hard you can find them for $600 - The meopta LR's are hard to find - never seen them for less than $1k.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
