These aren’t African hunting guns but I figured I would give the AH group a chance at these before I list them on a gun site.

Up for your consideration are some really neat rifles. These are all Marlin model 1893 Takedown rifles, these were all manufactured between 1900-1904. All 4 are takedowns, I only show one takedown into 2 pieces because I was being lazy (last pic). All are original, with original hardware, wood, fasteners etc. they all function very well and all shoot. I have shot them all at short range to verify operation. The 30 WCF and the 33-20 have periods correct Lyman tang rear sights installed.
Calibers are as follows from top to bottom pics. 30 WCF (30-30), 32-20, 25-36, 25-20.

I would like the following $ for each.
30 WCF $1250
32-20 $1200
25-36. $1100
25-20. $1100
If someone is interested in the set I would make a better deal. These are priced very fair, the takedown models are hard to come by.
These prices do not include shipping to your FFL. Shipping will be additional, actual cost with insurance to your location.

I like the table they are on!

Seriously, those are right up my ally. Never owned a Take-down before but I’ve still got (3)1893s, an 1894 and a 93. Just picked up a 1936 the 93 evolved to, towards the present day 336. All fine rifles. Most my levers fell casualty to a marlin Ballard obsession. A decent bore is difficult to find but not at all impossible.

Several messages and interested people but all are still available.

As a boy, I knew several old timers living nearby that used the Mod 93's for deer hunting. I currently own only one, in 38-40. They have very nice triggers for a lever and operate quite smoothly if well kept. Most used 25-35 ammo in the 25-36 as ammo was scarce then. Encountering wounded deer that had been shot with the 25-20 or 32-20 near the farm was a common occurrence. A real piece of Americana. A young hunter on this site needs to buy the entire set. Lots of history here...........FWB

The set sold to member SgtDog0311 today. Great gentleman, I hope he enjoys them!
