Yeah, it may very well come down to that... Overpaying, pulling the bullets, shooting out the primers, decapping and reloading. Sigh.

Thanks, Buddy--that really helps. I have a gorgeous .450 BPE Webley rifle that is just sitting here taunting me, and I'm unable to shoot it. Hopefully Mr. Pappas will be able to help.

Just FYI: a few weeks ago I spoke with Hornady rep who informed me that they are still producing 450 NE 3 ¼” brass. Since it’s not a high demand item, they only produce them “seasonally” and have not produced them in 2020 yet. The rep told me that it might be the end of this year or early next year before another batch is produced.
