Looking for a Trophy Importer in New England

Hello everyone. We recently returned from our third African hunt and our trophies are being worked on in Africa. The taxidermist is using Zingela to export them, but I was wondering in anyone knows of importers in Portland Maine or Boston?

Portland, ME isn't a designated USFWS Port so while it's not impossible to have your trophies cleared there it's much harder. Boston is a designated port but I don't know of any commercial trophy importers that are operating there. There may be, but I'm not aware of any.
I've just cleared mine myself in Boston in the past and while it's a PITA (you have to do some running around), it's far from impossible. I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself though if you're bringing back rhino, lion, or elephant.
The Boston inspector I've dealt with in the past recently promoted to a different location and I haven't dealt with her replacement but she was very helpful and accommodating.
You can always hire a Boston based non-specialized broker as well, do the permits yourself, and let them do the running around.

I don’t know. You can call them during regular business hours and I am sure they will assist you.

Nothing but good things to say about their Chicago office. I have utilized them on three different international hunts. Personnel are always helpful and return calls and emails. Assisted me in completing my USFWS Leopard Import online without additional fees or trouble.

No hidden or mystery fees on invoices. Notably, no outrageous and ridiculous storage fees. They are located right near O’hare Airport and they retrieve crates daily.

Easy pickup at their warehouse. Schedule appointment. Back up your truck. Forklift loads crate. Get papers signed. Drive off.

Genus in NYC. Used them with trophies from Zimbabwe and will again. Easy to work with, just drive down one day and pick them up once cleared
