Load the shotgun

I better load the shotgun. My 25 year old daughter was out side the house last night, and had a cougar within 20 feet of her. Her cell scared it off when it rang, and then she saw it leaping away. As well had a sow bear and young cubs on the property (800' away) yesterday morning.
Why do I bother heading into the mountains to hunt??

That's nerve-racking for sure. First shot 00 buck followed by some good ol' TruBall slugs.

I've got one loaded up for two-legged predators right next to me.

Boy, that is way too close!! I wonder if the cat was just passing by or had other intentions. Beware when predators loose their fear of humans.
