Excellent!

Outstanding!

I love now the back and spine look. So natural. It just captures the twist perfectly.

Looking great

WOW! Dennis' cats are amazing

Long time coming but very well done. I know the hunter is very proud.

Looks great!! Thanks for sharing!

Maybe your best - and that is saying a lot!

Great mount love the fine details like how the ribs are protruding on the side its bending away from but not the side the the body is going. One question that I have no clue the answer to is do lion's eyes dilate while hunting/charging I know when my cat gets riled up her pupils are huge covering up most of the eye actually, didn't know it that transfers to big cats. Don't know if this is just me being OCD and being to picky but the lions forward back paw isn't supported by anything so it looks like hes slipping. It making my brain think of him falling on the ground rather than ripping my face off but thats just me, great job!!!

Perfect as it can get! Most cat mounts look almost cartoonish and jacked up, this one is quite impressive Dennis!

Thanks everyone, FLhunter7 Lion eyes below in full charge. Not a mount, live reference . I don't live with cats so would not know as to what you refer to in their dilation . In my personal daily experience with my dogs, All I have alive around the house, in regards to pupil dilation and it's cause and effect are sunlight /darkness and drugs. As for the affect of the back left leg, it's suspended off the right rear only , yes. As he is moving fast in a hard left turn pushing off that right leg. Watch a running back hit the line and quicky sideways move left. To push and move the body quickly to one side of another your going to lift the leg in the direction your intented move is and push off with the opposing leg but the leg in the direction your going to mov must be off the ground . The cross in the legs and the pitch of the body has him frozen half way thru his speedy turn, As his body straightened out and leveled off it would center to gravity as he finished the turn , the left leg, already starting to bend at the knee would stay cocked like that and would be under him again as it set to the ground for the next push off with then that leg as it continues in it's forward charge. I'm pretty happy with the speed and balance and the movement of this piece. Thanks.
