The term "dumping ground" makes it sounds like a garbage dump which I don't think it is. The memes posted tend to be more from the conservative side but that is probably reflective of the audience that visits the forum in general.

I am a firm believer in transparency as it stops most arguments and misunderstandings before they can start. Could you tell me what spurred your post that I quoted above?

John, Sorry that you take my characterization of this thread and politics personally.

It appears with all things politics, instead of scrolling onward and ignoring the personally disagreeable content, nasty name calling attacks start arriving with immediate and profound consistency. Which are then compounded by follow ups of the same ilk.
These are not in the spirit of this site and are GARBAGE. Hence the characterization.
