The dots on the closeup of the Golden Ring are breadcrumbs from when I laid it on the table not scrapes or scratches....they wiped off

Yea, it is tremendous on a compact rifle like the 7mm-08 it was on. I had it on a Rem Model 7 with 20" barrel and the gun was a breeze to carry.
