Observers if any $150 each
Pre baiting on request $200 a day
Baits @ $150 each
Additional plainsgame at trophy fee prices
Game scout fee $50 a day up until you harvest your Leopard.

Concession fee $500

Trophy fee on Leopard $10000

Gratuities at your discretion.

Transfer to camp and return free

2% ZTA tax applicable on total day rate and trophy fees.

$22 Vat per day on Accomodation

Includes PH all camp and safari staff , all meals and beverages, daily laundry .

Hound hunting is legal in this area and at an extra fee if you choose to use hounds .

Current rates are $6000 for Houndsman fee , $1500 for special permit .

Extra fuel will be required as this will require at least 2 vehicles so work on an extra $200 for fuel ..

In the past, I've been told that the odds of getting a leopard on bait are about 50%. It seems like the odds should be better with dogs. Is that correct?
I've hunted cougar (mountain lion) over dogs and know that it is not a guarantee of success.

50% IN A REALLY GOOD AREA. But yes it does help a lot.

Hi Charles generally speaking yes the odds are definitely better when using dogs .. not any dogs but proper trained hounds that are good on Leopard. Having said that there is nothing guaranteed as you yourself know . Some areas will not allow dogs and often in these areas you don’t actually need dogs .. but in areas that hunt both methods it’s a extra advantage having dogs for sure .. and it’s also a preference for some how they want to hunt ..
