I'm holding out for the new Leica coming out this spring. It's a joint branding and industrial design venture involving Smucker's Jam, Ma Bell Telephone and Leica Sport Optics. It's called the "mother Smucker leica" bino.

Rumors have it that the msrp will be $20,000, it will launch 4 years late and will have a 90 day warranty starting on the day you first observe the product on their website.

I have Swarovski binos (2 sets) but I am thinking about getting Leica. To my eye the glass is a bit better. These Africa edition are tempting especially since I have the Swarovski Africa edition 10x compact binos. They have been with me on all my hunts lately. I also looked at their newest products at SCI and find the rangefinder model to be most interesting.
Regards,
Philip

Planning is coming together! Just waiting to hear back from a couple outfitters to see what their availability is for this year, if any, and I'll be booking my first African hunt. Fingers crossed I can get one slotted for late August/first couple weeks of September.

Hi, I was wondering where you lived. I am near Auburn. Are the loaded Norma AFrames factory ammunition? Thanks, Richard

Hi James, congratulations on winning a copy of Cries of the Savanna! I appreciate your interest in the book and hope you enjoy it.

I am leaving in an hour for the airport to meet up with my husband for a week so I will mail it as soon as I get home. I am sorry about the poor timing and making you wait.

Anyway, send me your address and I will get it in the mail as soon as I can.

Thanks again for entering!
