I am at a point in my life where these aren’t going to be used much anymore. My kids are right handed, and I’d really like to take my wife to ZIM while still upright.
  1. Winchester Model 70 LH Super Express .375 H&H. Very good original condition, bluing is great, a couple of pressure dents in the stock. Nothing major. $2800 shipped
  2. Winchester Model 70 LH Stainless Classic .300 H&H. This is a build, standard length action, .375 bolt stop, mag box and ejector. Factory walnut, Sunny Hill follower and 1 piece bottom metal. It has a 25” Hart barrel in factory contour. Functions fine, good shooter with 220gr Sierra Pro Hunters $2350 shipped
  3. Super Stocks/Remington 700 LH magnum. Trued and Roguard/NP3. Pinned recoil lug setup as shouldered switch barrel, Douglas #5 contour. Includes .338 WM Hart with XS front sight (Roguard finish), 7mm Rem Mag Hart threaded, (bare SS) and 300 H&H McGowan fluted (bare SS) McMillan BDL stock w/blind mag. Jewell trigger. It has never missed a big game animal! $2200 shipped
  4. Borden Mountaineer RR 7-08 Obermeyer chamber (basically minimum SAAMI spec). 20” fluted, threaded/removable Harrells brake, X-Caliber 3 groove REM sporter contour. McMillan Hunters Edge carbon, painted, BDL. Triggertech. $4000 shipped
There are others but this is a good start. I will privately send detailed pics if anyone is interested. Offers are welcome, not in a hurry to sell however. Payment via check/USPS Money Order. All shipping USPS Priority from AK, unless you have the proper UPS account and can send me a label. FEDEX IS NOT AVAILABLE. FFL to FFL.

I take a day off and miss the .375! :(

Even though it’s not original factory, the .300 is equally as nice.

Savage 16FLSS flat top .308 PacNor 20” threaded Savage Magnum Contour. Rifle Basix Sav2 trigger. McMillan Fiberglass sporter stock, blind mag. Shoots little bitty groups with 168 Gold Medal Match

Can you explain number 3 for me please? I'm not a rifle builder or familiar with this set up.

I may be interested depending on the accuracy of the 7MM Rem Mag option/set up...

Happy to.
It has those 3 barrels headspaced to the receiver. With the appropriate action wrench and a barrel vise they can be swapped in a few minutes to a different cartridge. The recoil lug is pinned so it stays put. Same receiver, multiple cartridges.

The 7RM barrel was the first one I had for it. It hunted Colorado for several years before I moved to Alaska.

Also I’ll have to amend, the 7RM is also Roguard finished. That and the .338 WM were chambered by Super Stocks in CO, he’s 80 or better and probably retired now, former bench rest competitor/gunsmith/stocker. Accuracy is one of those things that is hard to honestly quantify. MOA or better with good ammo/shooter/scope would be a comfortable statement.

If you want to private message me with your phone I can send pics via text.

Can you please pm me some pics of that savage in the mcmillan? Also if you have any browning abolts to send down the road, feel free to send pivs and info on them.

Thanks,

Kyle

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
