Have made the decision to let some of my southpaw M70 classics go to fund other hobbies.

Left hand M70 Classic action in 375 Rem Ultra Mag.
24” Krieger stainless 12 twist chambered by Pete Pieper in Hempstead, TX. Custom Talley machined bases, straight bolt handle, and feed work done by Jim Kobe in MN. Rifle was sent to Chad Dixon at LongRifles Inc in Sturgis to be CNC machined and bedded into the Echols Legend McMillan flat top stock and painted olive green with black speckles and has a mercury reducer in the butt stock.

Has Sunny Hill bottom metal, Jewell trigger, Talley QR rings and a 1.5-6x42 Swarovski scope. NECG masterpiece banded front sight and adjustable rear sight (needs the fiber optic front bead from NECG as I’ve misplaced the insert). Rifle is threaded for a muzzle brake for load development and has the thread protector to switch out for hunting.

Built the rifle with coastal brown bears in mind but never materialized. Rifle is throated to run 300-350gr Barnes TSX bullets from the 3.6” mag box. It will shoot factory 270gr Barnes LRX ammo but not the Remington 300 A-Frame factory offering.

Load development was focused on the 350 TSX and with IMR 4350 was able to push it to 2500fps. Will go higher but not needed for anything that walks the planet.

Asking $6,000 plus actual shipping to your FFL with rifle and scope as it sits now. $5,500 without the scope and rings shipped to your FFL.

Great looking rifle. @JMJ888 is great to deal with and based on the rifle I bought from him a year ago and the other ones he has either sold or has for sale, may have the finest looking collection of left handed M70s in the world, certainly that I have ever seen. Best of luck with getting your rifles sold. Whoever winds up with them will be thankful.

Do you have an idea of the rifle weight and do you have the brake for it?

Yes I have the brake for it.
Off the top of my head I remember it in the high 9lb range but will stick it on my postal scale later this afternoon when I get home.

I appreciate it.

Another beauty. And a steal at that price..........

375 RUM? I’m sore that outperforms 375 H&H Mag, correct?

Will this chambering also shoot the H&H Mag?

I have zero experience with this cartridge. Thanks.

Outperform is a strong word but it has more velocity than the H&H. Where it stands out is with heavier 350gr bullets. With high SD and velocity I would argue it gets closer to 416 Rigby performance.

It does not fire H&H ammo…you are thinking 375 Weatherby or 375 H&H Ackley Improved.

Good morning,
Did you hunt w Leeuwkop at their ranch or in Zimbabwe? The ranch looks awesome, but I'll be in Zimbabwe for buffalo and whatever else we dig up.
What did you hunt for?
Vaccines?
What rifle did you use?
I feel like I need a good cotton safari shirt and an ammo belt to make the hunt feel right!
How often did you shoot prior to going?
Did you use sticks for shooting practice?
