I have a Krieghoff Dreiling in 16x16 over 7x57R for sale. It comes with a leather case, sling, the older Zeiss rail mount scope that was on it when I purchased it and a Kahles that JJ made rings for and mounted for me. The Kahles scope is a 1.1-4 Helia CSX with #4 reticle and illuminated dot.

The rifle will shoot inside 2" at 100yds until it heats up. The shotgun shoots slugs and buckshot well to 25yds and will obliterate a turkey's head at the same range and more with federal #4. The 16 bores are chambered for 2 3/4" shells.

The left barrel has some rubbing that removed some of the finish as portrayed in the fotos. I am guessing that is from rubbing the original owners kit while carried in the classic "slung upside down action open" carry of a previous owner.

I have had this for around 15 years. It has killed a lot of pigs.

I am asking $5500 shipped to you FFL in the US.

I will post more fotos.

Its a heck of a gun, the way I read things:

$1200 Modern Scope
$1500 premium scope mounts
+$1000 for being in the most desirable rifle caliber, 7x57r
+$500 for being 2.75" modern 16 gauge chambers
+$500 for barrels over 24" length
+$500 for the case

Oh, and its a Krieghoff Triumph. There are a lot of mediocre drillings out there for $4000 missing their scopes, with obscure rifle calibers, and short chambers, made by no-names in Suhl. This one is a dandy by comparison to the usual. Top 10% as far as drillings go.

Dang that thing is sweet, if I wasn't saving for another safari I'd be seriously checking this out!

Beautifully executed engraving and carving, a lot of rifle for the money.

I had a pair like that but not fully engraved and carved. One like yours 16ga over 7x57R. The other was 12ga over 22 Hornet. Did you hand load for the 7x57R?

I handload for my wife's 7x57R Merkel K1, but I have always just used Hornady or Norma factory with the dreiling as it loves them both. I bought a lot of the factory ammo years ago before the world went crazy.

What is the length of pull and weight?
14.5" to the front trigger and 7lbs 11oz with the scope mounted, 6lbs 8oz without the scope.

I am 6' tall and it mounts easily regardless of clothing. It handles surprisingly well on skeet and clays. It is by far the nicest dreiling I have owned.

Planning is coming together! Just waiting to hear back from a couple outfitters to see what their availability is for this year, if any, and I'll be booking my first African hunt. Fingers crossed I can get one slotted for late August/first couple weeks of September.
