Yeah, I’ve bought some dumb shit at 3am! But who doesn’t need a 9th 375H&H? The best one was when I bought all three sizes of Glock in 357 Sig because I decided over some whiskey that I really liked the cartridge design and bet it fed really well!
I hear you bro I already had a .375 HH Magnum Winchester Model 70 and decided l didn't need another .375 ... 13 years later , l get me a BRNO ZKK - 602 in... .375 HH Magnum .
I've been drooling over a Ruger Hawkeye 6.5x55 at Cabela's and now you have a 275Rigby as well? Congrats! Pics and a range report when you get it in. Side by side with the 6.5 would be a nice comparison.
Coming to a thread near you..........I can definitely vouch for the Swede, that’s why I snagged the 275 Rigby!
Received the Rigby today, bottom of the pic. Mounted an older Conquest 3-9x40 MC and she’s ready to go............just as soon as the Arc hits land again. No drooling please........
Excellent Ruger. You will love it. It is a sweet deer caliber! Let me share a favorite picture from it!
Yes my Swede shoots that good as well with 140gr partitions. Hoping the 275 Rigby follows in the Swede’s footsteps.
Shot the 275 at the range last weekend and was well pleased with the performance. Running my go to load of H4350 and 156 gr Oryx pill. This load works in all three of my rifles. Forgot to mention I traded for a Ruger #1 in 7x57 a few weeks back from a guy I met at the Nacogdoches gun show. The #1 needs a trigger job for sure but initial results look promising.
I have one of those slings too, they are nice. Cant remember where I got it though. IIRC C. Boddington is a fan of them also. Think that is where I first saw one.
Rigby, Westley Richards, and Africa Sporting Creations have the high quality ones. There is a company at DSC every year that sells knock off versions (much cheaper). Can't recall the company name but they primarily sell a lot of books. They are always set up on maybe the second row from the entrance. There obviously could be other places I'm not aware of.
