I will use Justin’s 375 CZ that I just used in Feb 2020. The more I shot it the more I liked it and now need to buy one. Great all round caliber. I just got back but would like to go back again. Justin is a great PH will be a fun hunt.

I will take my same old Remington model 700 in .300 win mag with hand loaded 200 grain trophy bonded bear claws. I took it once and it was excellent up to and including a blue wildebeest-which I would definitely like to have another one! And since we are adding stuff while there I want to take an eland. . . so maybe my Sako .375 wby mag. just to get it blooded. I'm working on a 235 grain load for it with woodleigh soft points when the weather allows. Now you have got me to dreaming!

Rock Island Springfield 1903 in 9.3x62 (once I get it rebarreled, that is)
285 grain soft points for larger plains game
275 grain Norma solids for dangerous game where allowed

That's me my friend! Africa is nothing but a dream away for me - but I think about it daily and have even planned my trip!
l'll tell you a secret, when l'm hunting deer in Australia, secretly in my mind I'm in Africa hunting exotic species... the mind is a wonderful thing...
l'm sure there are plenty of other people in a similar situation so I want to wish EVERYONE the very best of luck.
