There are many incredible stories woven into Rigby’s history, and the ones about Jim Corbett are among the most evocative.

In a special series of the Rigby Campfire Podcast, Rigby's managing director Marc Newton shares the journey that brought two of the Rigby Museum's greatest treasures together: Jim Corbett's famous .275 Rigby rifle and the only known remaining copy from the original Jungle Stories print run.

These podcasts serve as the prelude to an exciting release in the near future of a new Rigby rifle modeled after the Corbett rifle.

I would trade in my highland stalker and probably most of my other guns for a copy of Jim’s 275.

I’m looking forward to the release of jungle stories, although I believe it’s a compilation of stories covered mostly in maneaters of kumaon. As a Corbett fanatic I’ll probably grab a copy anyway. Do you have an eta on when that’s likely to happen?

Fantastic! Thanks so much for putting these podcasts together. I listened to the first chapter today and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I don't understand the first thing about copyright and publishing law, but are there any plans to re-release this book? I'd love to add a copy to my collection.

We don't have an ETA on the release date yet as they are still working on the layout. The hope is to find a process by which the new printed edition can have the same vintage look as the original remaining copy.
