Injecting rhinos with radioactive isotopes?!

Has anyone else seen this? This is the first I have heard of it but the article is nearly a year old. Is this already underway?

Scientists in South Africa make rhino horns radioactive to help anti-poaching effort

A South African university launched an anti-poaching campaign Thursday to inject the horns of rhinos with radioactive isotopes that it says are harmless for the animals but can be detected by customs agents.

Well, i didn't know about the rhinos. But, i have been injected twice in the last 2 years with radioactive isotopes. I expected my bobber to glow in the dark, but nothing yet......!
