It may be an overused and somewhat exaggerated cliche but with my PH it was a literal, an maybe an uncomfortable, reality...

This is the scrotum off of the impala I shot converted into a fine leather shift cover for my PH's Toyota...

You’d need some balls to drive around with that on your stick !

My tracker/skinner took from all my animals every stomach and liver to eat that evening.

"Tripe is the edible lining of a ruminant's stomach"

I shot a bison for a two-year supply of meat. My wife ask for the tripe but the butcher did not want to bother with it due to the mess. I could not blame them.

I’ve seen a waterbuck scrotum used as a gear shift cover as well. I also have a very nice pair of bookends made from Cape buffalo feet. Nick - nacks aside the total use of an animal in Africa is almost mandatory, in Mozambique we always said take everything and leave only the whistle behind, referring to the common reedbuck whistles.

I would be interested in it if you pass. Please send me the info on the gun shop if you do not buy it. I have the needed ammo and brass.
Thanks,
Ross
