Impossible to find used heym double rifle

I jave been searching high and low for a used heym 88b. When I see them inads they are already sold. Called Champlin Arms and all the heyms they had advertised were already sold. So frustrating!

Time to commission a new one. Only takes three years to deliver.

I sold my Heym 88B in .500 NE last month. It was too good of a rifle to become a safe queen after I got my Shikari.

I looked for a Heym 450/400 for about a year. I gave up and bought that Heym 375 with the gold inlays that champlin still has listed on their site. Gordy and sons has a few doubles available including a nice old Rigby for just 34k or so.

I feel your frustration...Ive decided to buy a chapuis while I either continue to try and stumble upon one before it is snapped up, or i decide to just bite the bullet and order a new one...like you the multi year wait makes it a pretty unpalatable proposition.
