I asked about bringing one if I could find it when I returned (which I leave in 2.5 days, but figured it would be more like the fall) and they made it sound like Zim was crazy strict with bringing in parts…even ones made all of wood. Like if it looked like part of a gun then it was a gun.
From a couple PH’s talking it over, sounded like getting it to someone in RSA was likely best first step. Again, zero personal experience on this, just was the Zim PH’s were saying. I have a gunsmith friend who goes to RSA and Namibia often, and he seems to bring all kinds of bits and pieces for this rifle or that one, dies, components, etc., for his PH and friends.
