Truly a loss. He was a good guy.

Any of yall fortunate to have met this young gent will know he had an immeasurable love for the bush and hunting. Sadly his life was cut way too short by a tragic accident, unrelated to hunting as I understand.

He was just about to receive his PH license this year. Scott was so incredibly proud of his Westley Richards 425 that his god father shared with him, and had spent months waiting for permit and assembling dies, brass, and bullets so he was set for his initial PH seasons. Something we talked about each night around camp….heck he went on about it even last camp, but this time was special as he had it in hand to share.

A man or total enthusiasm, endless smiles, and always looking for a task to jump upon. He was a joy to have around. Always pointing out interesting facts and posing thought invoking questions. Quirky as so many of us are, and in the best of ways. He was a genuine kind hearted man who will continue to be missed.

Please keep him, his family, and those close in your thoughts.

Beautiful words. Didn’t know this young man, but your words described a wonderful individual who I wished I had met. Scott, rest in peace in the green fields of heaven.

Sad to read this. Condolences to his family & other loved ones. RIP

Our sincere condolences...

Now in a far, green country under a swift sunrise...

Gone far too early, may God grant his family and friends peace and may he RIP.

When my wife of 30 years died suddenly I was asked why do bad things happen to good people. My pastor told me something I have never forgotten.., God is the only one who knows all things before and after we are born, only he knows our future and in his kindness does not want his beloved child to suffer what only he knows their future so in his love for that person He takes them…yes while we grieve on this earth they are dancing in heaven
Very well said sir. To be removed from this earth and be in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the greatest blessing we can have once our job on this earth is complete.

So sorry to hear this terrible news. RIP. Condolences to his family and friends.

So sad. RIP and condolences to friends and family.

My condolences to his loved ones. May he be resting in the eternal hunting grounds.

Excellent description of Scott. I was there in his company many times and he was a joy. I am so sad to hear of this and can’t imagine what kind of accident must have befallen him. Prayers for the D&Y team and his family.

Jenn and I were very sad to hear of the untimely passing of Scott. We were just with him a couple of weeks ago in the Omay. He was great to have in camp and did everything possible to ensure Jenni had a great experience for her first trip the Omay and Zimbabwe. Scott will always be a part of our time we spent in the Omay. Rest easy. IMG_0399.jpeg0
