Not many get past the eastern edge of Texas. But a lot winter in Louisiana.Correct. I have actually never even seen one. Sounds like they conflict with my duck hunting. Hell, I don't know anyone in Texas that hunts them.
Wonderful birds for pointing dogs. I too would love to follow the migration. Quirky little birds with their brain upside down in their head.
