I tried to have a rifle made, but ultimately decide I needed a new hobby

Nice work on those stocks!
You might want to ping Tim at Matrix for his qrib kit
For those 550 magnums. I designed a set of custom integral barrels for the 550 on CZ actions that fit into B&C stocks and did the reload design for barrel stress (his customer was a lawyer of all things) with that fat bullet.
Lawyers dig the .550 Magnum. It is a thing. :-)

A suggestion re 1903 Springfield stocks. It is not necessary to carve out the slot on left side for the bolt release lever. The bolt release is 3-position: "ON" up against the receiver is operational to cycle and fire; "OFF" all the way down allows the gun to be cycled with empty magazine (presumably for inspection); and position #2 half way between the two for bolt removal. The difference between On and Off being if the magazine is empty, in On position the follower blocks the bolt in open position. But when military rifles are sporterized, we typically bevel the blocking surface at back end of follower so the gun can be cycled with an empty magazine while lever is in On position. This eliminates the need for Off position and therefore the recess in the stock. Here's my Springfield. I believe Les Bauska made this stock. I bought it from him in his shop circa 1981. Note the knurled knob on striker is removed to access aftermarket left side commercial Mauser style scope relief safety lever. When the bolt release lever is all the way down in Off position, the bolt can be cycled but will not pick up cartridges in the magazine (definitely not desirable in a hunting rifle!).

See you are from Denmark - see quite a few Danes where I stalk in Scotland - great hunters.
The Harkilia stuff works well in Africa - I have a bit for use here in UK.
I am again looking for 600 Nitro dies preferably RCBS 1 inch. The set I purchased previously are 1 1/2 inch and do not fit my die. Another member has graciously taken them off my hands. If anyone happens to have a set of 600 Nitro Dies that will fit my Rockchucker Supreme RCBS press, please shoot me a message and thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
I have not posted any items for sale on this forum and will not every put anything for sale. My account was hacked and I've worked with the admin to get things shut down.
