Hunting old Buffalo at Bubye Valley Conservancy (BVC) Zimbabwe

I‘m planning a buffalo hunt at Bubye Valley Conservancy, Zimbabwe. Who has hunted there and can tell me a bit about buffalo, i e did you see plenty, herds and single dagga boys? What areas did you hunt in, what do you think are the optimum areas for very old buffalo?

I‘m not interested in trophy size, the horns can be broken off. What I want is a buff around 12 years and older with a thick solid boss without gap in the middle.

Have you ever seen such old gentlemen at BVC, maybe you even have photos? Would love to read about your experiences regarding very old bulls at BVC.

Cape Buffalo is my Bucket List hunt. And I want to do it in Zim on a traditional hunting ground.
