Setback, strategy, and the comeback! Published in the magazine Helicopter Life is the incredible, inspiring, and mind-blowing story of counter-poaching helicopter pilot Jana Meyer, Hope for Wildlife Helicopter Services.

Georgina Hunter-Jones, Chief Editor, of Helicopter Life Magazine and author of "Murder in the Cards", point of view in her editor's letter meet exactly the situation of how fragile life on the planet is.

Take the time to read Georgina's editor's letter, your interest is already making a difference. Photo of Lola Reid Allin, Canadian award-winning photographer

Excerpt: Winter Edition 2022 Helicopter Life:

Reading Renate Buchner’s story of poaching in South
Africa underlines the fragility of life on the planet and
our ability to do something about it. It would seem that
all was going well in the world of Jana Meyer and the Hope for
Wildlife in Africa mission, then the cost of the helicopter got
too high for its owner, he decided to back out of the project and
suddenly the mission was in trouble.

Luckily, thanks to support from the Serondella Game Lodge
and the MJA Wildlife Fund, Jana has been able to purchase a
new Robinson R44, but, as the article shows, for a while Jana’s
future and that of the counter-poaching organization looked
very rocky.

Anybody interested in helping with the counter-poaching

efforts should look on Jana’s website: hopeforwildlife.africa

You’ve got an interesting screen name. Will the Thrill provided lots of great times for me as a lifelong Giants fan. Even though I never met him, a number of buddies either duck hunted or shared a dugout with him. He’s a great guy according to those guys. Cool screen name and if that’s your real name, it’s a great one.
in-between all the bush fire, hunting and work on the hunting area its hard to find time for fishing as well

I ran across a message from you a couple of years ago while I was going through old emails. I have arranged a second bison hunt in Nebraska in September 2024, about 6-years after the first, when my supply of bison meat was exhausted. My email is [redacted].

If those Schells rings fare still available, I could use them. I'm willing to pay for the shipping.
