Hog Hunts near Austin

Any reasonable hog hunts near Austin (within 1-2 hours) that are safe and resaonable? My goal would be to bring brand new hunters along with me so they get the feel for hunting and gun safety, as well a place to bring home so decent boar sausage. I've tried Independence Ranch which is ok, but the property is so small that I've "run into" other parties on the regular.

Lots of places around Texas. Pintail hunting in Garwood has hog hunts, thermal hunts and helicopter on private land. There is a boatload of hogs on the place.

Sandy Creek Outfitters.

They're based out of Eagle Lake area (west of Houston along I-10), but they have A LOT of acreage to hunt and not all of it is there. Last I heard, well over 500k acres he guides on. If you send me a PM I can give you the owner's info. He's a personal friend and I know he rotates/rests the properties and areas on each property to maximize the chances of y'all having a good shoot.

If you can make it out to Centerville, I know a couple of outfits where you where you will be the only hunters there. The owners charge $150 for the first 100 pounds on the hoof, then $1/pound past 100. One place has a pretty large fenced off paddock for hunting with some nice blinds, the other has 2 areas, some of the blinds and platforms are little hoopty but that's part of the charm.
