help me choose what blank goes where?

Bought this pretty pair of Bastone (Cecil Fredi, cut from the same tree) a couple of years ago to build a set of rifles, 375 H&H and 404 Jeffery, and thanks to our good friends at Raven Rocks with the supply of 404J brass, I am getting ready to send off but..
for the life of me, cannot decide took photos in the sun today and still did not help (my wife immediately picked, of course). Anyhow, thinking the simpler stock for the working man's rifle, 404J. But would appreciate any more confusion to help me

Top blank for 375. Bottom for 404. If only building one rifle, I’m going with the top one.

Which do you figure is the simpler one? Doesn't look like a hill of beans worth of difference to me. Especially after they're worked into a stock. The top one I guess might have a bit more character in the butt. You'll love them no matter the combo. Nice wood.

Nice. I’m sure you’ll post pics. I sent a Bastogne blank off and had it turned into a 404 Jeffery stock. Not as figured as yours, but I really like it.
